Day 18 - 40 Days of Prayer

Today, ask the Lord to raise up respite care providers to support and give relief to the caregivers caring for orphans who are waiting to have families adopt them in American and foreign foster care. Pray for more and more loving, Godly foster parents to provide temporary and permanent homes to children in need of them. Pray that God provides for the needs of their families and for well being of the family as a whole as they provide a very needed home for children who are abandoned, relinquished, physically disabled, abused and taken from their parents for what ever reason.

1Pet. 5:2

Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, serving as overseers — not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve;
