A Day at the Park

Today I had my 6 week post natal check up. Elias is 11 lbs. 3 oz.!!!! I am so glad he is growing well. After that we went to the park, to a mommy friend's birthday. It was a fun morning of hanging out, getting to know other women and just playing around. While at the park I met up with other moms that were meeting to plan homeschooling stuff. It was great to just network with them a bit. I may start meeting with them too (I know, I am a bit of an over acheiver, Addie being only 2). I guess it is just good to get your foot in the door and to make relationships. Furthermore, today is a great day because Tim is getting back from the staff backpacking trip...any minute now in fact!!! Can't wait!
