Love Bucks

Remember LOVE BUCKS... 

We start February 1st! 

Care to join us in learning some lessons in loving, serving and giving to others?

Here are the basics of Love Bucks...
(re-post from last year)

1st - Love Bucks... given to children who show love, kindness, compassion, service or help to others with out seeking personal gain or self-promotion. Children who ask for one will automatically NOT be given a Love Buck. Give them a week or two to acquire some Love Bucks.

2nd - Secret Valentine... each kiddo draws the name of a "Secret Valentine" to purchase a gift or gifts for, we do just all the children in our family, but mom and dad could join in the fun!

3rd - Set up shop... mom hides away a years worth of "goodies", forgotten or under appreciated toys, "re-gift" type items or take a little trip to the dollar store! Then she sets up shop to "resell" these items.

4th - Purchasing... Kids must use their counting and adding skills to count their money and purchase the right amount of gifts for their Valentine.

5th - Deciding... it is hard to do.

6th - Waiting... keep the secret and don't tell!

7th - Giving...  and receiving! On Valentines Day we have a special breakfast and each Secret Valentine gives their gifts!
