Daily Meditation

Proverbs 24:12

"If you say, “But we knew nothing about this,”

does not he who weighs the heart perceive it?

Does not he who guards your life know it?

Will he not repay each person according to what he has done?"

or, the Message version...

"Once our eyes are opened
we can't pretend we don't know what to do.
God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls,
knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act."

What knowledge has God put on your heart?
What are you being asked to do?

For me, it is that their are 145 million orphans in the world.

There are a reported 100k children waiting to be adopted in America, but there are 300k churches. If just 1 out of 3 churches in America was able to take in and make one these children their own, it would end waiting children in our land.

Praying... praying... praying...

The same thing has been on my heart.

The amazing thing is that I feel like God keeps bringing it back to me. Dreams... weird events... it is getting hard to ignore.

It's been on mind too... My brother and his wife are "working on" starting their family through adoption because they are unable to have biological children. I am so excited to meet the beautiful children they will bring into their home in the future.

Oh Megan, I hope they do adopt!

You know it is almost startling how simple the solution is... on paper at least.
