Eli got a new pet. We also have a dog, "Sadie"
and a hermit crab named "Lightening" that belonged to Allan.
He was named Lightening because he has a
lightening bolt painted on his shell... very obvious and logical.

Eli got a newt... a fire belly newt to be exact.
We all assumed he'd name him "Toothless"
because he looks like the dragon on the movie... but no.
He named him Poncho.
Yup, Poncho.
When I asked him why he named him Poncho he said,
"I looked at him and thought, 'Poncho is a good name.' It isn't a stupid name like Chico..."
Welcome to the family Poncho!
I am glad we didn't name you something stupid like Chico!
