Introducing our family school...

September 6th @ 8 am school officially begins for it's first year.

(It will run from September through May... ending a week before camp activities start up again.)

We have one kindergarten student and one pre-school student.

Together as a family we are covering...

Bible/Catechism

Core - VP First Favorites Modified

(history, geography, science, character and

writing units on a piece of literature)

Art

Physical Education

and Read Aloud Literature

Addie will be covering...

Phonics - VP, Phonics Museum

Math - Saxon K

Writing/Grammar

and Personal Skills

Elias will be covering...

(Slow and Steady Get Me Ready and Kumon Work Books)

Listening and Attention Skills

Numbers and Colors

Letters and Number Recognition

and Fine Motor Skills

Cora will probably be distracting us all...

but what is toddlerhood about, but that?

She'll also be doing Slow and Steady for her age level!

Currently we are getting our homeschool room ready and taking a much needed vacation after a particularly stressful and tiring summer. But, we are all looking forward to be beginning school! As a former teacher, I've been waiting for the day I start my own school for 5 years now. :-)
