It was super sweet, this last week at camp two girls, 1 is Navajo and 1 Hispanic, came up to me as I was holding Cora and said, "How did she get those dark eyes and dark hair?" The other said, "They are as dark as mine. How did that happen!" ...Because the rest of us have lighter hair and blue or green eyes.
I smiled and said, "You're right! They are just like yours! I think they are so beautiful... the same color as chocolate! Isn't that so cool!? Maybe God just wanted us to have a beautiful dark eyed baby."
They both beamed and cooed over her.
Got to love God's creativity and also how He made us more similar than we are willing to recognize!
