A local church, Patrick Crossing, has made it their personal mission to help us get our children home!
Their plan?
The River Run for Orphans
The River Run for Orphans is a nationally organized 501C3 organization to benefit orphans throughout the world. This year, the River Run will take place on September 17th at Ft. Lewis College. Well over 1000 participants will be running/walking in either a 1 mile or 5k race to raise funds for adoption, orphan care, and humanitarian aid.
Runners do not need to be a member of Patrick Crossing to run for us, you simply need to be willing to seek sponsorship from your friends and family for the race and mail that support to Patrick Crossing along with your pledge sheet.
We leave on the 2nd of September and are still needing to raise $7k to finish up getting our kids home.
If you would like to run The River Run for Orphans, let us know and we will get you a sponsorship sheet and a registration form. Registration for the race is $10 and includes a race t-shirt.
