Funny Photos

Tim took these photos of us on a picnic we took this Saturday to a lake. It is funny because from behind I look completely normal...then I turn around! It just made me laugh! We are waiting on pins and needles!

She Makes Me Laugh

My 3 year old had a huge fit and kicked her brother because he was bothering her. So, her dad disciplined her and said, "It is too bad you acted so disobedient because you won't get dessert tonight (a treat they had been making for me together)." She was crushed! He said, "Maybe if you are a good girl you can have it tomorrow." Her thoughtful response was, "Maybe if I am good I can have 4 desserts."

This morning she was snuggling in bed with her dad while I got dressed. Mind you I am 37 weeks pregnant. She leaned over and whispered to her dad in a cute loving voice, "Isn't mommy so cute and fat."

I laugh all day at that girl!

I have seen these cute little billed caps knitted for babies lately and couldn't resist trying to make one for E. It is made from cotton yarn, the band and bill is knitted with double yarn, the hat body is knitted like a traditional hat. It took some work and many adjustments, but.... drum roll please..... Here it is!

However, I think the boy is cuter than the cap!
