On Education From the Educated

I wanted to make these into an independent post... they were just too good to stuff in at the bottom of the other.

"Thank goodness I was never sent to school; it would have rubbed off some of the originality." Beatrix Potter

"It is, in fact, nothing short of a miracle that the modern methods of instruction have not entirely strangled the holy curiosity of inquiry." - Einstien (Who didn't talk until early childhood and got poor grades in all but mathematics).

"Children require guidance and sympathy far more than instruction." - Annie Sullivan (teacher of Helen Keller)

"A child educated only at school is an uneducated child." George Santayana
